The Bay Area is a great place to vacation so we hope you will be able to enjoy the area while you are here.

In the immediate area near the wedding (which is called the Peninsula or Silicon Valley), attractions include Stanford University and the Tech Museum of Innovation. Near the hotel where you will be staying is downtown Mountain View (Castro Street), and it is filled with great restaurants (our favorites include Tied House, Cafe Yulong, and Amici's).

Within a 45 minute drive, you could go to Santa Cruz (go surfing and hit the boardwalk), or of course, San Francisco.

Within a two hour drive, you could go to Monterey/Carmel (white sand beaches and the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium), or explore wine country in Napa and Sonoma.
