Airports
-San Jose (SJC) is the airport closest to Mountain View and Los Altos, about a 15-20 minute drive. San Jose is more convenient if you want to sightsee in Monterey/Carmel.
-San Francisco (SFO) is a bit further (30-40 minute drive from the wedding), but is convenient if you are planning to make a vacation out of the weekend and sightsee in San Francisco and Wine Country.
-Oakland (OAK) is furthest afield at a 60-75 minute drive.
-You can often find great deals on tickets on Travelocity, Orbitz, and Expedia.

Rental Cars

Hotel
